SANEF Saddened to Hear of the Sudden Death of Vuyo Mbuli
The South African National Editors’ Forum (SANEF) is deeply saddened by the sudden death of Vuyo Mbuli, a much-loved and respected journalist.
Mbuli, 46, reportedly collapsed while watching a rugby match between the Cheetahs and the Reds at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein on Saturday evening.
He was treated at the scene and rushed to a local hospital, which later pronounced him dead.
SANEF members, like the rest of society, are still in shock about the passing on of “Mr Sharp Sharp”, as the amiable TV and radio personality was known. He was also known for his hard work, dedication and an ability to keep his cool under pressure.
SANEF sends its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and many others who held him in the high esteem he had earned.
