SANEF Statement on ANC Accusations Against Daily Dispatch

SANEF has noted the statement from the ANC accusing the Daily Dispatch, edited by Bongani Siqoko who is also SANEF deputy Chairperson, of plans to bring down the Eastern Cape government. The statement alleges that this is contained in a document that allegedly originates from a planning meeting of the Daily Dispatch. SANEF has also taken note of the statement by the Daily Dispatch, denying any knowledge of such a document or plans. SANEF further notes that the ANC statement indicates that the organization would be approaching SANEF for a discussion. We await the opportunity to be briefed by the ANC.
