COMMUNITY MEDIA

The committee believes in strong collaboration between the community and mainstream media. We believe collaboration will ensure a more sustainable industry.  Better communication between media groups will assist in transferring knowledge. The committee intends to tackle fake news issues at the community level and issues of training.

Finally, the Community Media subcommittee aims to deal with issues relating to the lack of funding/ resources to maintain the operations of community media outlets.
